Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails!
This is truly the best tagline I could ever want!

awww, MMW, she'll come out! you still have some time.
here in my spouses' group, there were 2 gals who thought for sure they'd go early, since their previous ones had been early. they were both due after me, but were ready to have them when I delivered! LOL
anyway, neither of them were wanting to be induced, since they'd heard that it's more diffcult when induced......I am just weird, I guess, as all of my deliveries were easy, & 2 of the 3 were induced.
so anyway, the first one was due 2-26: she did go into labor on her own, AFTER several attempts at membrane stripping, walking, etc, etc. she delivered her little girl on leap day, 2-29. go figure........
the second one was due 3-6. when she still wasn't getting anywhere, again, after several membrane strippings, walking, etc, etc, her midwife scheduled an induction for the 14th. that morning, she ended up going into labor on her own, but not all her water exited her body, so they still ended up breaking her water, & her son was born that morning.

so, V will eventually come out.....obviously, this one will be your stubborn little chicka!!!!!!!
are you dilated any?

I am dialted to almost 3 ... she could almost get 3 fingers but since not all the way they are calling it a 2 still Roll Eyes There has been no change in the past two weeks. I have a Doc app in 2 days so hopefully I will get some good news then. She is a stubborn little girl! No idea where she gets that from! Wink

I read something funny and had to share it...

Five things your partner should never say
• "Mooooo!"
• "Ouch — a paper cut. I wonder if this is what labor feels like."
• "Is that a watermelon under your shirt or are you just glad to see me?"
• "My father called again to ask about your cervix."
• "Is that your underwear or did a parachute land on your butt?"

I have a question y'all.. This isn't my first, so I feel kinda dumb for not remembering, but my kids are all 4 years apart, so it's been a while. Has anyone else experienced some kind of leakage? I don't THINK I'm peeing on myself.. I leaked amniotic fluid with my DD but this isn't like that. And just one more.. When did y'all start having Braxton Hicks? I'm 18 weeks today & having a few a day. Usually they aren't bad, but every once & a while I have to sit down when they hit.

If you think your leaking Amniotic fluid GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! I know this sounds gross but when I'm not sure if I am pee'ing myself or leaking fliud I smell it (yes I know thats gross). Does the leakage stop when you 'hold it in'? If it stops when you try to hold it in ... your pee'ing yourself. I would go get checked out. I have had cramping/braxton hicks my whole pregnancy. I have also lost mucus my whole pregnancy. I say go get checked out - it will easy your mind ... even if it is the ER go in.

LOL MMW I do the same thing. I know it's gross, Lord help any menz that read this. DH saw me sniffing my shorts the other day & was like WTH? Like I said, I leaked amniotic fluid with Shelbye & it has a very distinct sweet smell. This isn't that. I'd hope I'm not peeing on myself, & it doesn't smell strong like urine, but at the same time, if you drink enough water, it doesn't smell at all. Whatever I'm leaking doesn't smell at all. So probably pee. It's only sporadically too, when amniotic fluid is a constant trickle.

As for the contractions, I remembered you saying you'd had them the whole time & I hoped you'd answer. Smile Maybe it's because this is my third so it started earlier this time.

My app went okay. My new due date is April 57th .... yes you read that right! This baby is never coming out! The bottom of my cervix is staying the same but the top is changing - how? No idea! I am still a 'loose' 2 (that almost 3 thing) and at 75% soft now. She stripped me some more today and I had to make a 40+ week app. They won't even talk to me about inducing until I am 41 weeks. My 3rd kid and I am going to my due date or more likely past it. Ggggrrrrr!!!!! I just want her out now!

I forgot to post B's 2 month checkup stuff......

he's now 11 lbs, 3 oz, 22" & is looking good! he also got his immunizations. yeah, he cried & cried, & was very uncomfortable the rest of the night, but he was just fine yesterday for his sitter.
I asked about the allergies, the dr said to keep giving him the soy, & gave us nasal drops since he seems to take after me. he's already got a runny nose & sneezes, but no cough or fever or anything. he said to wait a few more months & keep monitoring B for more allergic symptoms, but it's difficult right now to tell if he's got them.

oh, & he's been sleeping through the night!!!!!!!! yea!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I had my baby!

It's a girl!!! We named her Brianna Cadence. She was born at 4:27 AM on March 23, Easter Sunday. She was 7 pounds, 9 ounces, 19 inches long. She has blondish hair and blue eyes. My water broke at 8:30 PM Saturday night, I went into the hospital at 11:30 PM and she was born 5 hours later. I had a relatively easy labor, although I have nothing to compare it to! Here is a pic of Brianna at 1 week old. Everyone tells me she looks just like my husband.
