Does anyone know how the visitation works when the spouse is stationed in another state. We haven't started the divorce yet so I'm just trying to get a heads up on it. Thanks.

I have a pretty limited experience with military divorces, but the two couples I am aware of, it's just an agreement between the parents for what works best. One couple set up longer visits less often (between 2 and 6 weeks at a time a handful of times a year). The other couple, the dad rarely sees his kid but I have a feeling that's a matter of choice. I'm sure it's a whole different ballgame if the parents don't agree about a visitation schedule, but if you can agree on something, my (again, limited) experience seems to say that a judge will agree if it's realistic/appropriate.
