WOW!! Well I feel out of place here!! I just think that is great all you ladies joined so long ago and are still able to remember all these things.. NO I am not saying that ya'll wouldn't remember it's kst inspiring that ya'll were in the Marine Corps. I love to talk to my Msgt and SSgt about when they first day and how that things how changed since then... I just want ya'll to know that I am really proud of all of ya'll and I hope that me and all the other ladies now a days can live up to ya'll exceptions. I know it must how been hard since then 'cause of the women liberations and things were going on at those times.. Just found it very motovated that ya'll heard your country call and were willing to answer it.
I hope that ya'll read and know the great things that women are doing now a days in the Corps.

Hey Ladies,

Glad I'm not the only one still proud to have worn the Blues.

I started training March 15 and graduated June 3, 1994 - November Company, Platoon 4014
My DI's were:

DI Sgt A.Y. Cheatham
(we had another DI but she flipped her nut half way through and was releived of our Platoon)
And I'll never forget the meanest miniature Mexican woman I ever met - DI Sgt Vargas who I only had for a short time while I was in receiving. She may have been small in stature but even the ground trembled when she told it to!
