I am just curious is this is offensive to Marines. I am not just another ignorant poolie and have read through 90% of the posts and comments on this forum, and understand that because I am not a female Marine (and do not claim to be) I have no right to post in here without permission. I have no problems in changing my screen name if anyone should take offense, and am very sorry if anyone does.

Change it......you don't rate it. A veteran - whether active duty, retired, National Guard or Reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that - Author unknown. |
