I have a particular problem with Marines raping Marines. Infuriating, that her young, pregnant self found in a firepit? They are both Martyrs. My Christian self finds it terribly hard to forgive the invasive and predatory nature of rape. But then rape by a fellow Marine? A violation, no person should ever experience. Now she's gone. May Justice prevail.

The death penalty was brought up on national TV, with the TV host announcing that Mexico is the place for the suspect to head to since Mexico won't extridite anybody unless the death penalty is taken off the plate.

If the suspect is in Mexco, Mexico will not extridite him unless the United States promises not to give him a sentence of life imprisonment upon conviction.

After you read this sentence, you might be using your imagination to think of some type of legal gymnastics the United States can do, but they won't work.

Here are some examples: The Marines can be the ones to deal with Mexico and bring him back on assualt charges(rape is assault) or anything that doesn't carry a serious prison sentence. Then, the rape charges.

Afterwords, the suspect can be turned over to civilian authorities in North Carolina and be prosecuted with North Carolina's standard sentencing requirements.

But the bottom line is that you just can't lie to another country. You can't convince Mexico to hand over the suspect on a minor charge,and then work your way to the murder charge and the death penalty.

The Mexican authorities will realize the murder charge was the real underlying reason the United States got the suspect back in the first place. You can't lie to another country.
