My number one pick at MEPS for a job was ATC. I keep hearing over and over again that this is a VERY stressful job, and that a LOT of people fail out of the tech school. Does anyone have any personal experience with this, or know why the fail out rate is so high?

Thanks,
Noelle

I spent 13years as a T2727OA/B/C, BACK IN THE 60'S AND 70'S AND HAD A BALL DOING IT. iT'S THE ONLY PLACE THAT YOU GET TO TELL PILOTS WHERE TO GO. sTUY IS THE KEY to staying in the school and ask questions until you understand it. Remember this " be as good as the best they have at that base " and you'll make it. Oh by the way I became a PILOT.

Air Weapons Controller is even better -

When you tell them to "KILL!", they will!! Wink

I was too old (35) to become a Pilot - Cool

Nothing like vectoring a Flight of four F-15s to intercept two large, multi-engine Russian Aircraft to keep you on the edge of your chair - -
