I am planning on joing the reserve unit in Pittsburgh, PA. My wife has accepted that I would be away at school for 3 months. However she is concerned about possible deployment. My recruiter told me that "it is very rare that you would be deployed more than 180 days in a 2 yr period". How factual is this statement if you could provide real numbers it would be greatly appreciated.
