Thanks for the invite for the Berlin Vets.
I was not assigned in Berlin. I took my family to west berlin on a trip. I was on leave. We were able to cross over to east berlin through checkpoint charlie. I figured as I was assigned in west germany my family and I should see and understand what we were defending and why. I sure was an eye opener. I don't feel qualified as a Berlin vet with just a few days vacation there. |
