We are going to be PCS'ing to Ft. Bragg soon and I wanted to take Space-A to go see my grand daughter like once a month to Dallas, Tx My DH is not deployed, I just want to go see my grand daughter once a month so she doesn't forget who I am. And hopefully take Space-A to save on money. Does anyone know about this and how much does it cost to fly Space-A. Please help Thanks
You will only be able to fly space-a if your husband goes with you, and he will need to be on leave or a pass. However, I don't believe you are going to find many flights from Ft Bragg to Dallas.
Flying space-a within the CONUS does not cost anything.
I see that this post is just over a year old, but based on my 16 years of working in passenger terminals world-wide, it is ALWAYS best to speak directly, preferably in person to the reps at the terminal in regards to eligibility and scheduling. I applaud the owners of this site and sites like it, for trying to provide information, but it's the people at the terminal who run the show, so what you find here may not be correct, or may have changed over time.

Good advice, but unfortunately the reps at the terminals (and "official" web sites) don't always keep up with the latest regs. Prospective travelers would be wise to consult the online info available from fellow travelers in addition to checking with terminal reps - reconcile any discrepancies by checking the latest policies and regs. Spacea.net and pepperd.com do an excellent job of keeping on top of current rules.
