I am a ncs spouse in Korea. I just got word that my grandfather has passed away back in states. I want to go to the funneral and be with my family for a bit. But plane tickets are so expensive. I would like to know if anyone has any advice or knows if I can use space-A to go home for the funneral...Thanks!!

If you are Non Command sponsored then you cannot use Space A. For this you would need a Sponsor Letter from the command he is assigned to. You may attempt it but you will need the letter and you should get a Red Cross message as well stating he died and maybe they will allow it. But most likely not. Call the airlines and see if they will offer you a berevement fare
