I am seriously considering joining the ARMY NURSE CORP. Our financial situation is doomed. Before getting married 3 years ago I had a credit score of 780-820. 2 years ago we bought a house (over bought). Was using cash advances to make it. Decided to downsize. less mortagae and utilites. Bought a foreclosure. My plan hasn't worked because now have been paying 2 mortgages for 7 months. Market has gotten really bad. The market is flooded with rentals in our area too. Tried to rent several times and didn't work out. Even if we did rent would be about $1000.00 per month short on mortgage. I am torn about what to do.. Can't keep this up. getting farther and farther in debt. Credit score and health are suffering. If we end up loosing the house and filing bankruptcy will I be able to get in Army Nurse Corp.. I have strived my whole life to keep perfect credit. Now it looks bad due to too much debt. Sorry so long. Thank you in advance for your help.
Foreclosure is a stressful and scary thing. You may have some options that will work in your situation. Your best bet is to speak to a bankruptcy attorney that can explain how foreclosure works and if it is the best option for you. Some do offer free consultations.
