What are you talking about? We HAVE to wear the American Flag on our shoulder? I have 2 nametags btw. One for uniform and patrol cap. But if you only have one, then it should be on your uniform, not your cap. And make sure you have your Flag on the right side.
I am currently nerolled in my schools JROTC and enlsited into the Active Army and i wear my name and U.S. Army and a flag, but before when i had ACU's it was the schools name, if u could get it then your name but not the flag patch. tht is for actual Army personel
I'm not in JROTC but I think you cant wear a combat flag not a regular flag patch. I'm a police explorer where I live and we all wear US Flags proudly (for some reason the guy put a combat flag on my friend by mistake). I would be somewhat empty if I wore ACU's with out a flag though.
in my school it is allowed to wear the American flag faced to the right,as i now got new pair of ACU's and it must not be in OD Green color (that's STRICTLY Wartime use as i did not know this and i had to do 50 Pushups) and you can wear youre last name on youre uniform to the left side and if you buy a "U.S. Army" Tape, you can Replace that with the "JROTC" as i asked my SAI and he said it's perfectly ok,as you represent the Army Actually.that's why the program's name says U.S.Army on it.
JROTC is not allowed to wear the american flag. Period. BOY SCOUTS WEAR THE FLAG NORMAL. the difference between the military and the boy scouts is that the military flag is reversed in symbolism of a flag charging forward
About the American Flag, no. You need to be in active duty. However for the nametag on the back of your patrol cap I'm not sure but when I went to JCLC it was a requirement. We were even given the option to replace our school name with or last name on our ACUs. Whoever briefs you on what goes on at the camp is there to answer your questions so all questions should really be directed to him or her. Have fun because once it's over you'll want to go back but you can't till next year
