Can't argue with that. Although I think when the time comes you'll see Pittsburgh just a little more amped than they were against Denver.

Here's an article I came across earlier tonight from ESPN.com Page 2 about the upcoming Colts-Pats game. "Good vs. Evil". I'd be interested in hearing some feedback on it.

I have no doubts about that. As well, they should be. Especially if the Pats beat Indy and come in undefeated.

There are a few things that I don't understand about Belichick and one of them is his emotions. I don't understand how you can stomp on teams and not be happy. The losing thing, yeah, I would be unhappy about losing. I can't see calling them evil though. Look at how he has taken NFL malcontents (Moss and Dillion in particular) and turned them into model citizens. Hell, Moss even hands the ball to the refs after he scores. Funny how they mentioned about the charity events, here's one that they overlooked, which is huge here in New England. Larry-oke

Overall, I can't agree with evil, but I can agree with puzzling.

One thing i'd like to add about Joey Porter after some introspection (since he was brought up). Here in America we've generally had an unspoken understanding with the rest of the world. We let them have their soccor, and they let us have our American football....and never the two shall meet in any significant way. But a line was crossed when they shipped David Beckham over here. We've no choice but to retaliate in kind after having such an undo level of gay-ness thrust upon us. SO, we're sending them a healthy dose of Joey Porter for the weekend in return. He'll be in London with a few days to kill. And eye for an eye. Big Grin

Care to retract that statement? Talk about a royal a55 whooping. I am glad the PATS got that scrimmage in this week so that they can play the "real" game next week. Big Grin

yeah I guess it was a scrimmage game because in a scrimmage you try to humilate your opponet. No other team would of went for it on fourth down when they where up 38-0 and then again 45-0. I hope the Colts smash the patriots and someone whipes that silly smirk off of Bradys face.

Joe Gibbs had his chance to voice his opinion, but he said he has no problem with what they did.

You must still be upset over the fact that they beat up on the Cowgirls.

Keep rolling PATS!!!!!!

Run up the score? I thought there were professional ballplayers on each side of the ball in an NFL game. You run up the score in a father-son game not in pro sports.

Even after the back-up QB was put in the Redskins could not stop the Patriots. Methinks the rest of NFL Nation dost protest too much. The Pats keep kicking butt even after Mangini's run to mommy over the cameras. How's that working out for the Jets? How is it the Pats are in position to score so many points? Luck? I don't think so.

People tried to smack down Belichik and now they are paying a price.

Consider statement retracted. OMG, that was shameful. Growing up in VA.(right next to the CG station in Alexandria), I am forever a Redskin fan, now living in Maine, the Pat's are my second team. They are fabulous this year and I do hope they continue. Note to Shua b: I notice you were on the Seneca, my son is also on it, but should be coming to So.Portland soon.TO ALL: We are in Central Maine and my husband is a Taxidermist. If at any time you are hunting/fishing and need something done, he is offering any Coastie,AD/Ret. a discount. Can be reached at leslie@midmaine.com.

One of the guys on ESPN said last night that he thinks Belichick is sending a message to the rest of the NFL and fans after many said the Patriots only won the three Super Bowls because they cheated. Now, here they are being closely watched and they are taking out their frustrations on everyone.

I was there with your son. We weren't in the same department, but from what I know of him, he is a good worker and very respectful. I hope he likes it in So. Portland, I know he will do well up there.

Could care less about the Pats beating the Cowboys. It was in a regular season game. Post season is the only one that count. The Pats will have a much more difficult road ahead of them to get to the super bowl then the cowboys will.

As for their game last night. You can say all you want about you dont run up the score in the pros that you want but when it comes down to it they showed no respect at all the last three weeks. No other team would keep their stars in in the fourth quarter and keep throwing the ball deep trying to run up the score. The patriots org. is CLASSLESS

So then it is settled, the PATS are a far more superior team than the Cowgirls.

That means that all the college football teams that wipe their a55es with lesser teams are classless as well, right? The Redskins couldn't even stop the second string quarterback from scoring on a scramble. They got exactly what they deserved. Not to mention the fact that the defense was talking in the media leading up to the game about how they were going to punish the PATS receivers for catching the ball. What is wrong with the PATS offense punishing the defense for those comments?

Yeah i forgot about I was talking to patriots fan who see nothing wrong about what there team does. They always have a reason why they have to prove they are good. Someone is always talking bad about them so they to prove they are almighty. Yeah the Redskins might not of been able to stop their 2nd string qb. I have no problem with them scoring with their 2nd team O, I have the problem with having their starters still in at 38-0 and 45-0. I have a problem with them going for it on fourth down when its 38-0 and 45-0. And to answer your question about the college teams, i also think that it is classless for them to run up the scores on the smaller schools.

Yeah they are a better team right now then the cowboys but they will never have the history the cowboys have. The Pats are a fad and in a couple more years they will fade away and the cowboys will still be standing strong.

Yep, the Pats are a fad like the 49ers were a fad. The Cowgirls are all done. They will not be in AZ in February. The best game of the year is next week between the two best teams in the NFL.

The Red Sox showed the National League is sub-par. The NFC is no better. Now as far as your fantasies go with the oncoming Cowgirls dynasty, I'd need a little more info before I buy stock.

Taking a knee with 8 minutes left in the game does NOT show respect, it shows sympathy. Playing the game shows respect. These guys are professional athletes and should be able to stop their opponents from imposing their will to that degree. If the Pats wanted to run up the score they would have left Brady in. 66-7 (if the Skins scored at all) would have been the final score.

If the Pats took a knee would the Skins have tried to score? Yes! So, the Skins were still playing the game. So you want the Pats to NOT play the game and watch the Skins continue to play? Ya, that’s a darn fine definition of professional athlete. Hey, I have an idea! Let’s STOP keeping score so no one’s feelings get hurt… Roll Eyes
