I will have to say that I have only been following the Sox for 6 years now. I was a Colorado fan for awhile. I moved to Vermont and just fell for the Sox. They are such a down to earth team as far as I could tell. There is so much history there and I am glad that I have been able to follow them in their journey and really get back into the game of baseball. I was so happy when they won the serries. I was awake every night for every playoff game. I was an absolute wreck that whole time. It was the greatest set of series I and many others had ever seen. I have been to a number of games at Fenway and this spring I went on vacation to see them in Ft. Myers. Now that was a real treat, not a bad seat in the whole stadium. We had a blast. I started this post 1 month ago and look where we have come with it. This is one of the greatest, if not the greatest rivalries in the history of sports. I am so glad to be a part of the fan fair. GO SOX!!!!!!!!!

They beat the Indians that day, 8 to 3.Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson, Lou Pinella, Bucky Dent, Willie Randolph and Micky Rivers were just a few of the names in the lineup that day.

Oh yeah and they had a 100-62 season, won the World Series.

Be careful WaterWaysinNY. You have to face them now. Your facing Rogers, who is having a great year. Post all the pics from the series you want. Remember though, we took 3 out of 4 with half of our team.

HALF the team and still winning. No Jeter for a few days, no Damon for a few also. No Sheff, Matsui, A-Rod, and Riveria today.

Let's see the BoSux win without Manny, Ortiz, Nixon, Youkilis and Papplebon. Never happen!

The Yanks need to shore up their starting rotation if they want to even think about the postseason. Without Mussina, they're team ERA would be through the roof.

Figures the Yankees fans would start to throw the "disabled list" excuse around! At least Schilling kept pitching when he was injured! The Sox have had their fair share of injuries - Crisp and Wells, and they still are hanging in there. Best part is us Red Sox fans aren't expecting to win, so when we do it's a great day. Yankess fans expect to win and are bummed out when they don't. GO SOX
