2 out of 3 isn't bad. I'll take that at the stadium any day. It will only get better for us at Fenway.

Sounds like it. You need a conversion to the good side. 3-1 so far for the Sox against the Wankees.

The Captain always takes one for the team. hahaha

Did you hear the sad news? Bill Buckner tried to kill himself the other day by jumping in front of a bus. Luckily it went right through his legs.

Why is the monster green?
Envy from Yankee wins.

What's the difference between the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Strangler?
One chokes only in October.

Four baseball fans, each from a major league city, are climbing a mountain.
On the way to the top, each is arguing about how loyal they are to their team and what they would do for their team.

As the climb progresses, the odds increase. Upon reaching the top, the Mets fan shouts, "This is for the Mets," and hurls himself off the top.

Next the Brave fan yells, "I love Atlanta, this is for the Braves," and hurls himself off the mountain.

Suddenly the Red Sox fan yells "This is for everyone," and pushes the Yankees fan off .

The Red Sox are in first place.

That they are, but there is a long time left until playoffs. So, as the dire Red Sox fan I am, I am not holding my breath. Although AtoA already has his World Series pick in I am sure. haha

Name a greater rivalry in all of sports than the Red Sox and Yankees. This could be one of the best neck and neck races between these two teams. Just keep an eye on Toronto. Eek

I must say, speaking of Canadian teams, that I really miss the Expos in Montreal. I always said that they should have made them an American League team. Just the Sox and Yankees games alone would have been their up doing. I remember when the Sox played up there, the games were sold out. It was great.

I have been noticing lately that more and more people are becoming Mets fans. I guess it's all a cycle for NY fans. Mets in the 80's, Yankees from the mid 90's to now, and now starting back towards the Mets.

I think it's because the Yankees are on that very obvious downhill slide. What is their average team age 38?
