Just wondering if there is any mma fans watching the fights tonight. If so what do you think about roger huerta fighting joe stevenson for their next fight. That would be awesome. also what did you think of the ppv. not over yet but im hoping couture beats gonzaga even though i have a bet with someone saying gonzaga will win.
randy proved to be too much man for god ol' gabe. couture got caught with a couple vicious legs but he just wanted that fight. huerta and stevenson would be a great fight. what a bout GSP! george st. pierre dominated koscheck in his own game. great ppv last nite can't wait to see hendersen and jackson.
I agree that gsp dominated the fight and beat kos at his own game. but im still impressed that kos went the three rounds with gsp. I think in a couple of years he will be one of the best welterweights.
i hate to say it but you might be right. Kos held his own. what do you think about vanderlei silva signing a UFC contract! The next couple of cards are going to be some of the best ones to come. I thought Cote was a shocker.

Just heard that randy broke a bone in his forearm in the third round. Said that he should only be recovering for like 6 weeks or so. Also stevenson broke his nose in his fight. You have to be impressed when i continues to fight with a broken nose or a broken forearm.
i was watching rome is burning today and he was talking about boxers being in the ring with a cage fighter. who was he talking about? It better not be "Aluminum Foil" Mike Tyson........he'd get smoked....or would he?
I dont know who he was talking about but their has been a few boxers get in the cage. As for tyson. if it was a pure mma match he would die if he didnt land a punch b4 he got taken down. but if it was a no takedown match like the one tommy morrison fought in, he would kill any any any any mma fighter in just a kicking punching match. no one could take a tyson punch with with 3oz gloves.
The MMA match Tommy Morrison faught in was NO MMA match, the guy he faught signed the contact then was told "There will be no take downs" then the day of the fight they said "there's no using your legs either, only hands" So basically he was fighting a Pro boxer with 3oz gloves...REDICULAS! (i spelled that wrong )
As for UFC 74...great night, If ya'll can find the fight on-line with Babalu fighting, they didn't air it but it was vicious!
As for GSP and the welterweight division, Well i think for as long as Matt Hughes is fighting in Welterweight, it will be his division, GSP caught him but Matt stood up the ENTIRE fight. When he fights in DEC you'll see the old Matt back.
ALSO Matt Hughes stated that if Rich Franklin does not beat Anderson Silva in the Middleweight title match, he wants to move up to face Silva, he stated that his natural weight is around 200lbs so weighing 185 would be huge for him, and that the only reason he hasn't moved up is because he refused to fight a friend or team mate - Rich "Ace" Franklin is very close to MFS (Militich Fighting Systems.
I would love to see Matt Hughes fight Silva just so i can watch him get killed. Hughes wouldnt be able to do squat with silva. As for his fight in December, call me crazy but i believe that Matt serra is going to beat him. Then GSP and Serra fight and GSP takes the belt.
I saw the babalu fight and that guy is an idiot. The ref jumped tryed to pull him off and he still held on to the choke. I dont think he should get his win bonus for the fight and he should be suspended. Thats why people continue to bad mouth the sport.

No way Mir deserves a shot at the title right now. Id say their going to give Big Nog, Cro cop or vera if any of them win their next fight. I just have a hunch about the serra fight. I dont really think he is that good but i think that hughes will be an idiot and keep the fight standing, therefore he will get ko'd.
Brock Lesnar is signing with UFC, this should be interesting. I am still a Crocop fan..those are the most lethal kicks I have ever seen. As soon as he figures out how to defend against the elbow, he will be unstoppable.
Brock Lesnar signs with the ufc is a joke. dude has 1 professional mma fight. Crocop is good but i dont think he will be as dominate in the ufc as he was in pride. He really needs to learn some type of ground game.
Great fights last Saturday!!! I dont thing anyone will stop Randy for a while. Cro-Cop should take care of Congo comming up, Bisping should dominate Hammil but the Jackson/Henderson fight is a toss up to me. Prediction-Hughes hands Serra a good old fasioned country A$$ whopin and then GSP will do the same to Matt. I also cant wait for Stevenson/Huerta or Sherk/Huerta. Lots of good stuff on the way
