They pulled one off today. It wasn't brilliant but it worked and they got a "W". I guess the question is....who or when will they get beat? Next week with Houston? NE maybe? How about Baltimore?

I have a sinking feeling that the Colts defense is starting to fall apart. Hagler is on IR, Marlin Jackson will be too by tomorrow afternoon, Sanders is hurt ... again, and Hayden's knee injury is worrisome since there are no details. It was nice having a decent defense for a change. Now that Jackson is gone, that means Tim "I get picked on by every offense I play" Jennings will be an integral part of our D from here on out. Granted he has shown some signs of life recently, but he still scares the crap out of me when he's out there.

I also think Gonzo's knee injury is more serious than reported. I hope they can keep it together! Roll Eyes

Sanders is done. Hayden out for a month. More surgery for Gonzo. I hope Peyton's arm is fresh ...

So far...Manning is looking great. He will break a few records today. He already hit the record for 40K pass yards in one decade. I think it said a couple more will go down today too. Just in the first qtr, he is 19 for 25 and 176 yards, 1 TD. Their winning 10-0.

Not too shabby....

31-21 Colts. I think the biggest factor will be our pass rush. If we get to Brady and get a few sacks and a lot of pressure then I think we win. If we don't, Pats win.

Watched the classic '03 game last night when Mcginest had his "injury" to slow down the Colts drive in the last minute. Then, miraculously was fine a few plays later to SPRINT around the end and stuff Edge. Roll Eyes

I might go a little higher with Indy and say 35 - 27 Indy. I just looked at a ESPN piece and the gal said in a computer simulation Indy has a 60% chance of winning. The pick was Indy will win and make it 18 games in a row.

Also I see that Ochocinco was fined $20K for joking around with the one dollar bill and the ref during their game. A little (another) over reaction by the NFL IMO. It's consistant with their Limbaugh blunder earlier.

I think he would've been okay if he didn't use the word "bribe" in his postgame comments. Hot button issue since the NBA scandal recently.

I would have said the same thing too as a goof. Like who is really going to bribe an official on national tv....especially with a buck? Unless he was intentionally cheap-shotting a particular ref....IMO the NFL missed the call on this one.

That's why they play the game. Computers can be manipulated by the data you input.

From what I saw, Ocho Cinco didn't even get close to the ref with the dollar. I really don't see the big deal here. I suppose calling it a bribe was bad, but for crying out loud, it was a dollar. Let's use some common sense.

I like how they have dubbed NE vs. Indy as the rivalry of the decade.

Indy is driving now and what has me nervous is that I know they will dial up the pressure in the 2nd half. NE will have to use screens and draw plays to counter that pressure.
