Anyone else think it is funny that Kimbo Slice will be competing on TUF season 10?

Is he coaching? Seems odd that he has already had several main events and would compete as a candidate.

In Kimbo's last fight he got his butt kicked seriously by Seth Petruzelli. Seth is not your big named fighter and he walked through Kimbo like a hot knife through butta. Seth didn't even break a sweat!

Kimbo reminds me of Tank Abbott. One dimensional. Brawler.

I see him losing his first fight, if anything he might get lucky and win the chance to get on the show, but no one really knows his personality. He was made famous for fighting guys on youtube. Any really fan of MMA will careless to see him or even hear what he has to say.

Kimbo has the ability to knock anyone out with one punch. But I think he does not have the all around talent to beat a true MMA fighter. They will tie him up and choke him out. If they can withstand his power, he is toast.

That said, I do not want to get in a ring with him! Eek

Wheat, I don’t think they said. The first fighter that lost had a huge gash on his head that went right to the bone. He won’t be back because he could not possibly heal in time.

Last night’s fight was strange. Both guy gassed-out in less than two rounds. If old guys like Randy Couture can go five rounds, why can’t these young ‘studs’ go two? Is their training that poor?

I was thinking the same thing while I yelled at the TV. I couldnt believe one guy was proir NFL and the other has been training with Rashad for a year. Worse gas out I have ever seen.

Although I thought Kimbo looked good he is a lot slimmer than I thought.

I will say this even though I am a Rampage fan, he picked bad match ups. Seemed like he was trying to use size. didnt work

To bad I am going to basic before I can see the end of the show. lol

Rampage is a direct, in your face fighter. Rashad is a lot more cerebral. He will give his fighter a better game plan. Rashad was smart to attack Kimbo before he can learn a lot of MMA moves. As of the fight, Kimbo will be a fighter… not an MMA fighter. If his opponent can survive the initial attack, he’ll be okay. But one shot from those steel lunchbox fists and it could be over. Kimbo lost to Seth Petruzelli, so he can lose to any skilled MMA fighter (no offense meant to Seth)!

Good luck in boot camp. And you can always buy the series on DVD! Wink

Man I am ****ed off about the Kimbo fight. ROy Nelson didnt do any damage, he just sat on kimbo and tried to punch him. What a waste.

Like I said, Kimbo didn’t know the MMA moves to get out of the trouble he got into. The fight was a letdown. Of course, if I stayed on my feet for 7 minutes fighting Kimbo, I would be proud too! Something tells me Kimbo will fight again!

Most definitely! Dana White is too smart to let a big ticket item like Kimbo walk away, regardless of how much sh*t he talks about him.

Lets face it.....Kimbo is not a MMA fighter, but he is a novelty which will bring in $$$ and afterall, regardless of the merits of the sport, $$$$ is the bottom line.

They are already setting up his return in the previews for next week. They have geared all of the hype around Kimbo for this season. Does anyone honestly believe they would send him home after the 3rd week?

Frank Mir once said that "every time Kimbo Slice fights it is a set back for the sport". after seeing him fight against Roy "fat arse" Nelson, i can't disagree. and i hate Frank Mir!
