With the Red Sox trying to stay alive and the Patriots doing so well, it is hard to get into hockey just yet but the Bruins have started out much better than recent seasons.

Anyone into hockey much?

The other night, the Bruins opened up their home season by introducing the players who were accompanied by young hockey players from around New England. I started watching it and thought, "What are the chances my nephew will be there?". Sure enough, out he came with one of the Bruins.....my nephew, David Guimont. That was pretty cool since I didn't even know he was going to be there.

After a few years of less that stellar play the St. Louis Blues are looking good. Game one was a disappointment. I was wondering if all the hype might have been just that. But they have ran off 4 in row now and are looking pretty good. Since I'm currently enjoying the rams getting pummelled on a regular basis I have to split time between the 2 sports.
