That is old news. I believe that is what originally led him to get pulled off the air. He is a moron but I will say that he seems to have toned it down on his new show.
I like Jim Rome. To me he's easily the most entertaining sports personality out there. That whole thing with Jim Everett happened at a time when he was trying way too hard to utilize shock value to get his name out there when he was first coming up. And to his credit, he didn't run from it after it happened. For years he had a career timeline posted on his site and put "the Jim Everett incident" right out there.
Screw Jim Rome he's a tool bag. Worst sports radio show on the air. He repeats everything he says 10 times in 5 different ways. I always thought a sports talk radio show should involve sports talk. He's to busy playing his stupid sound bites and taking crappy emails and sorry @ss phone calls talking crap about each other. I ask you where the hell is the sports in his sports talk show?

I gotta disagree with you Stroke. I have to say that Stephen A. Smith is a tool bag and has the worst sports talk show on the air. I would love to punch that guy right in the fu*$in' mouth.
Can't stand Jim Rome. The only part of his tv show I can handle is the round table.
I like Erik Kusilias and Jason Smith on ESPN radio. I only listen to XM radio and ESPN radio trumps Fox Sports radio any day. Fox Sports still sounds like a cheesy Hot 98.8 FM radio station.
Jim Rome, said that the Broncos should not even show up for the super bowl against the Packers. Did not have much to say after the Broncos won. He's a windbag.

When I catch the TV show, I get some drive-by entertainment out of Rome's show, I guess I'm a juvenile at heart. I did like his radio show which was pulled for Mike and Mike in my area a while back, and I've become accustomed to their schtick now.
I got to say, if Rome was afraid of Chris, er Jim, I'm sure he wouldn't have repeated it to his face repeatedly.
As far as predictions go, Jim Rome is no different than any other sports guy out there. I listen to alot of Colin Cowherd on ESPN radio in the mornings after Mike and Mike (easily the worst show in the history of sports radio) and he's right sometimes and wrong others. He said it was virtually impossible for the Giants to beat the Patriots. Alot of other sports guys said the same thing. I like the fact that Rome isn't afraid to call people out. Not enough guys do that. Granted, the "clones" radio callers suck but I like the email segments. I tend to tune out with the athlete interviews (as I do with all these shows), but I do like his commentary most of the time.
I still thing Rome is a really good interviewer and I like some of the calls and some of the emails. I think Mike and Mike is ok but it is getting stale. Definately not the worst radio talk show though that would be the Howard Eskin show on 1450 out of Philadelphia. That guy is more annoying than Oprah. He is the reason I bought Sattelite radio for my car.
