So who will play for the National Championship? Illinois beat previously undefeated and #1 Ohio State. All the ‘best’ teams have a loss. It’s about time college ball is more than 56-3 blowouts!

I would think that if Kansas stays unbeaten then they would have to be 1 or 2. I guess LSU would remain at the top as well.

LSU Vs Ore. Although if Kansas wins out and the Rainbow Warriors do as well, I think they should play. I know everyone will say strength of schedule. but hey thats my opinion

Yep, strength of schedule is a biggy. It's why BSU wasn't in the NCG last year (and rightly so). Personally, I want to see LSU play Oregon. I think Kansas will lose one. I think they have Missouri coming up.

LSU vs. Oregon sounds right. I think it would be a heck of a game as well.

LSU-Oregon would be real exciting. The only thing is the long a$$ layoff until the big game. These are potent offenses and it would take away from the game to have to watch them spend the first half knocking off the rust.

Does begging and pleading count as foreplay?

If Mizzou or kansas wins out, they will have to beat 2 of current top 5. Mizzou & kansas next week (unless Mizzou looks past KSU) and winner to play OU in the Big 12 Championship Game. Not sure how either of teams would do in BSC bowl game due to lack of big-time football experience, but I'd sure love to Mizzou in a January bowl game.

We already saw what happens when Mizzou plays a real team like Oklahoma. Kansas has looked good, however they haven't played a real hard schedule either. We will see if they get past Mizzou. I guess I should say since I am from Eugene, Or. I am a little biased.

Wellllllll...it was in Norman. Not sure the Ducks have played a tuff road schedule (I know, every PAC-10 team is a potential #1, heard it all before when USC was imitating greatness), but the did win in the Big House, so they deserve some props there. Again, they also have big game experience that will benefit them if they play for the BSC NC.

Well, it looks like the "true" National Championship game, if played today, would be between Kansas and Hawaii; the only two major division one teams left undefeated.

If strength of schedule is going to be a detemining factor, then all conferences should be desolved OR major division one schools should be drastically reduced.

In the Kansas vs Hawaii national championship game, I see Hawaii unseeding Boise State as the "true" national champion.

Kansas hands down if they can run the table. After that LSU, Oklahoma, or even Missouri. Which ever Big 12 team that can win out really. Its getting a little easier since Oregon lost.

Oklahoma playing Arizona State. Why are the Sun Devils getting no respect? Ericson one of the greatest college coaches. He needs to go back to corn valley!! If they lose to USC I take that back.

Not Oklahoma, Thanks Texas Tech. I think West Virginia and LSU.
