They are a good squad, but I felt that them at the #1 spot was a stretch. They would've never made it there if some other teams hadn't lost. Plus, i'd been hearing so much about how improved their defense was, yet at the end of the game they allowed Illinois to burn 8+ minutes of clock time running virtually the same QB option keeper and QB Draw plays numerous times when it counted most. But if they can keep some of their players from bolting for the Draft, they'll be looking real good next year. But I still think Illinois will be the class of the Big Ten next season. Zook has done a marvelous job recruiting and he's put a great system in place there.
They SUCK. Their best win was against PURDUE. Are you kidding me. A number one team with their best win against #22. This is why we need a playoff system, so sorry A$$ teams don't get by just beating sorry A$$ teams. We will see how good they are when they play MI.

Like I stated earlier, OH ST had to play Purdue. That aint exactly the cream of the crop when it comes to hard sched. USC plays in the second toughest conf. in football, and some experts say the hardest this year. Once again, don't be a trojan hatter. Hattred is not healthy.
I'd say the PAC 10 is the 2nd toughest conference right now behind the SEC. I'd put the Big 10 neck and neck with the Big 12 followed by the Big East and then the ACC. As for the other conferences like the WAC........who cares.
Spatlong, i live in alaska now so i have to watch sorry pac 10 games all the time. Nothing special going on there. Man i cant wait until the rose bowl to whoop on them ducks. Cz usc aint going anywhere. People talk crap on here bout osu being overrated. lets see they started out 12 and now there going to be top 5 at the end of the season. USC starts number 1 and theyre not in the top 10 right now. yup OVERRATED. face USC is not the same w/out reggie bush and the great bunch they had a couple years ago.
Yeah, lets compare the schedules. OH. St. first tough game Purdue. What a joke. Then they meet Illinois in Columbus. Well we know what happened there. They beat Mich today 14-3. Oregon beat them by 20 something. I know what you are going to say, It's a rivalry game. Give me a break. Big Ten schools are good until they play the SEC or Pac-10.

First of all the ugly ucklings will more than likely not even make the rose bowl do to Mr. Baseball getting hurt the other night. Sad deal.. I see ASU or USC winning the Rose Bowl or who ever comes out of the PAC-10. Hell Stanford or Arizona probably could of contended for the Big-10 title.
I would like to see a healthy Hawaii team take on Brutus and the Buckeyes in Aloha Stadium.
