Ok, who is going to win the NHL season part two (aka, playoffs)? Anybody know how the CG Academy team did this year?

I want to see my Pittsburgh Penguins win the Stanley Cup but honestly, I see Detroit and Montreal in the finals with Detroit skating away with the cup. Frown

Well forget what Detroit or Montreal did in the regular season holds no merit in the playoffs. Whole new season here. Although Detriot is primed to take it I have to go with my team, the NY Rangers. Wishful thinking, maybe. Possible, absultley.

I would love to see the wings win it but i think they'll choke in the playoffs like last year.

I'm thinking Penguins vs the Hockey Machine Red Wings.

Glad to see the Bruins make the playoffs but seeing they didn't win one game against Montreal in the regular season, I think it's going to be a short experience for the Bruins.

The habs are looking alot like the flying frenchmen of old. I'm hoping the B's can step up a bit more and slow them down a bit.

"Here we go bruins, here we go!"

Peace,

Dick, there has been a lot of hitting in tonight's game so far! For the FIRST time this year, the Bruins actually lead the Habs. Didn't last long, though. 1-1 at the end of 2.

Nice to see them pull out the win. Hopefully they can carry that momentum into the next couple of games and realize they can win if they slow them down a bit by pinching in the zone and finishing checks. You can't let them wind up and get moving.

"Here we go bruins, here we go", I'm so glad they aren't going to be sweeped!

Dick, I hope you watched the Bruins last night. It was an amazing game! Hard hitting, up and down the ice. The bruins were behind three times and came back. The Habs came back 11 seconds after a bruins goal. Heck, there were a lot of goals score in the last ten minutes. I can't believe the Bruins forced a game seven!

Dis,

I turned it off after Montreal went up 3-2 only to see the scored tied while watching the Red Sox game. So I turned it back and watched the rest of the game only to see the highlight of Manny hitting his homerun while watching the Bruins game. What a great night for Boston sports teams. The Celts are on tonight!! Here we go Boston, here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had watched the game as well. I played tennis this morning with a guy thatw as at the baseball game and when they announced that the Bruins had won it charged Fenway park and the Sox where able to make a comeback and win as well. I hope I got this story correct as I am getting to be twenty percent in accuracy in my older years.
Dug some worms for the kids to take to the pond so I'm going to head over now and see how they are doing before team tennis practice this afternoon.

Peace,
Dick

Dick, I watched most of the game in HD! Man, HD really improves hockey!! My legs hurt during the 3rd period so I had to hit the pit and watch the rest of the game on the bedroom tv. Smaller, not as nice of a picture, but a terrific outcome!

Well, the Habs put a spanking on the B's last night!
Murry was lucky to get up from that hit from behind into the boards.
The Hab's were to fast for the B's in a run and gun game. Poor Thomas left alone on one and none situations did well for a while but the tide kept coming.

I appreciate the B's getting to seven games and giving the garden faithful that great game on saturday.
