1-Why do westerners have abortions? Don't we need more foot soldiers against impending attacks?

2-what does it take to get into navy and i really want to become a pilot and get to like use the AC-10 Thunderbolt or like the tomcat aircrafts?

3-Even with the worst discharge from the army how does one get back in?

4-can i hide hemorriods at meps?

5-What is a Military Civilian Employee?

6-i dont want my son to go to WAR?

7-If US Special Forces are so special, why don't they just kill Bin Laden?

8-My son is very happy but the United States Marines won't take him so why?
He has a tattoo on his shoulder saying "Gay And Proud". I checked the dictionary and it says "Happy". The Marines don't want happy people?

9-Army veterans or soldiers: Is it true they are fighting for my freedom and rights each and every day?

10-Would you consider a street sweeper as good weapon for home defense?

If those don't qualify as "Stupid" nothing does!! Big Grin

Or stupid questions that are asked of people returnign from an OIF deployment.

Q-Do you have to go back?
A- UH, I just got home, can I enjopy this first?

Q-Did you kill anyone?
Usually a nasty look is a good answer.

Q-What's it like to be back?
A-Well, I don't have to jack off as much, but I don't get to kill Hadjis anymore either, so it's kind of a wash.

Stupid is Stupid!!

Keep the Windex and paper towels handy. Big Grin

11-What war was going on in the 40's?
my great grandfather served in the navy in 1944 just wondering if there was a war going on at that time

12-About the Navy..anyone who has family in the navy?
my boyfriend is joining the Navy, can anyone tell me what it is like to have a close one to go in the Navy? What was it like, the experience? How did it change your life as well as his?

One answer to 12..
well I dated a Navy recruit for 5 months. it was pretty hard knowing he was leaving. I guess it doesn't help to say we broke up the day he left for boot camp in January '09. I don't think I could date another Sailor ever after that experience. I went through hell and back dating him. Airman, Coastie, Soldier yeah but no Sailor.

Best of luck to you and your Sailor though. Expect to be apart more often than you're together. The Navy will own him.

13-How can I join the navy when my husband or wife doesn't want me to join the navy because they're in the milita?

14-Where was the first world war 2?

15-Can he buy his way out of the army?

Probably more to follow as I run across them. Wink

Cat,
This is what else she said in her topic.
quote:
My question is: Can my boyfriend buy his way out of the army and if he can how much will it cost?

My boyfriend is 18 and only recently joined the army he is in basic army training now.
I wanted to know is there anyway for him to get out without being dishonourably charged? And what will the cost be if he can buy his way out?

I love him so much i want to spend the rest of my life with him but i don't think i could handle him being in the army. I think he has signed up for 8 years but i'm not sure. I miss him so much i cry everyday for him i just think of him and i start to cry its so hard him not being around me i feel as though its killing me inside i LOVE him so much its incredible. And i know u might not have wanted to hear hw much i love him but i just wanted to explain why i want him out he has been gone for nearly 2 months now and it is killing me so i can't imagine what it will feel like when he goes to Afghanistan, he told me that his first 4 years he has to serve duty but the last 4 he does not have to but if they need him he will have to go Frown Frown oh by the way he is in the US army as an Engineer that's all i know about his army situation please answer xx

After a number of responses to her topic, she added this;

He wants to go i think its me who doesn't want him to go Frown :'( :'( xx but if he really wants to do it then i have to stand by him and support him but it will kill me along the way Frown :'( :'(

I know i dont have the power to dictate what he does and if he really wants to do this then i will support him through what ever he does. I am not imature u dont know what ur tallking about and he joined the army just before i met him so i'm sure he wouldn't have joined if he had met me before HE LOVES ME and i will wait for him if i have to for all eternity because I Love him with all my heart x

Ah yes, the young corrupt minds of today. I"m so glad I was in the Navy, it was soooo much better than being in the military. I don't think I could have handled the military....I mean all the stories you hear. It was so much better just being on a big grey cruiseship......but can someone tell me why they had those guns on them?? I didn't see those on the Carnival line.

That's because the Navy isn't part of the military......at least according to one of the comments Boats points out.
