U.S. navy missile destroyer USS Ramage DDG-61 enters Gdynia harbor, Poland, 25 October 2009. USS Ramage will stay in Gdynia until 28 October and exercise with Polish Navy. It has got the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense system, which allows the crew to find targets above, on and below the ocean and destroy them with onboard missiles (f.e. Standard Missile 3 - SM-3). USS Ramage was commissioned 22 July 1995.
We are proud to have such a visit in Gdynia
