Ok..maybe a silly question here..
So my 7 yr old nephew invites me to a Veterans Day ceremony at his school and says...wear your uniform. I believe the ceremony will be in the auditorium. Technically, would this be considered a "ceremony" warranting you wear your cover inside?? They have got the VFW doing color guard with all the pomp and circumstance. I've worn my cover in official Navy ceremonies held indoors but I don't know about this situation. I don't want to make an etiquette faux pas. Your thoughts.... |

"When in Rome do as the Romans do."
I would say if everyone else is doing it, then it should be alright. Uniformity is the key word when it comes to military ceremonies. You dont want to be the only service memeber without a cover, you would stand out like a ricky recruit. YN3 Cruz |

Just a thought, but maybe you could contact the VFW and ask them?
