Greetings all, I recently came across this patch that belonged to my father. He was an S-3 pilot on the USS Kennedy, squadron VS 32, somewhere between '75-'79. And that's pretty much all I know. I'm really curious to know if this was a squadron patch or what. I find it interesting that it contains a stylized peace sign under the eagle. Also if the number of stars and stripes mean anything, other than part of the flag. I really appreciate any answers or leads anyone might have. Thanks for the help.
Doug

It is a patch that some anti war soldiers wore after being discharged, Circa: 1969 -75. I had one. Never wore it. Don't remember where I got it or where it went. I wasn't anti war.
