Don't think I can beat Going Commando...

My husband is currently deployed for this stupid 15 month deployment. Frown (YAY only 5 months left though!) Anyways, I have heard different things about being able to get free phone cards for them to call home with. Any information on where to sign up for this would be greatly appreciated!

Have a great day!

You can contact the USO, or if he is on Anaconda by any chance there is a USO there that will give him some. I have seen tons of places to donate cards for deployed soldiers but other than the USO, my husband hasn't received any of these. Makes you wonder where they actually go huh?

At one time the American Legion was donating tons. I'd take a look at their website

AT&T was giving some away but that was awhile ago. There is several online sites such as America Supports You that does have programs set up. Also check with your local telephone company and see what deals they have for calling long distance. Look into local phone cards as well sometimes those ones you buy at 7-11 or other small convienence stores works well.
