My son has been in Sadr City for about 2 weeks. For some reason I've started having a hard time with it. (Maybe it's the bombings.) I try and not listen to the news or read the paper about what's going on over there, but sometimes I'll hear or see a bit of it and then I'll dwell on it. Does anyone know how I could find a support group in my area? Talking to my friends just doesn't cut it sometimes.

the National Guard in every state runs Family Assistance Centers that serve ALL military Families-not just Guard members-they might be able to put you in touch with other family members. To find one google-state name national guard family assistance centers, look in the phone directory under state gov-national guard and phone the nearest amory-or email me thru my profile and tell me what state you are in and i will get a list for you.
