My wife is a Major, USAR, AN. She entered the Army in June 1993 at age 41. Her MRD (Jul 2011) reflects the mandatory retirement policy in effect at that time (Age 60).
I noticed that in the 2009 US Army Reserve Almanac that the retirement age for officers below the grade of BG was listed as the last day of the month in which the officer becomes 62. Furhter research provided the following answer:
Public Law 109-364, section 503(c)(1) changed the age in section 14509
of title 10, United States Code from 60 to 62 for reserve officers in
grades below brigadier general or rear admiral (lower half)
However, when she reviews her official record online, her MRD still shows 2011.
What are the steps required for her to correct this?

I answered this in another thread. This is a duplicate post and is now closed.
