I am curious about the qualification criteria of becoming a warrant officer in the army guard/reserve. I am currently in the Air National Guard and have a two year degree. Any info or links are appreciated!
I served in the army about ten years ago (FA), and as of now, I have 7 years experience in aircraft maintenance. I noticed that both are career fields in the Warrant Officer Program, so I was hoping that when I do decide to take that step I would have no problems.
Here's the rub, while you may have 7 years in aircraft maintenance, the Army wants experts only on the airframes it has in its inventory. So if you work on Crashawks, that would work as its an equivilent MOS, but anything else would not.
