I'll be retiring in a few years and I'd like to hear from someone here who has retired from the Reserves and is already receiving medical benefits. If I understand it correctly, with 20+ good years at age 60 you will be eligible for retirement benefits to include medical.

Is this the same thing as TRICARE/TRIWEST/Etc..? and in your experience, what are your payments like and what is your satisfaction with the service (compared to say a civilian plan)?
