The Tallahassee city commission unanimously approved domestic partnership rights for same-sex couples in the capital of Florida on Wednesday, while it also agreed to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the city’s anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.
The domestic partner policy change will allow city employees to include their partners for health, dental, vision and other benefits coverage, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
