I was on the USS Shreveport during Operation Solid Shield in 1974 looking for fellow Marine's that took part in this operation, I was a field radio operator and was attatched to India Co. as they're radio man.

I was part of Solid Shield.
I also was a field Radio Operator but unlike most I was attached to the Observers as a Radio Operator.

I was a few years later... Solid Shield '77 while with 8th Motors at Lejune.

I was with VMFA-312 (Phantoms), Flight Equipment @ Bogue Field, NC for SS74; Dang short runway and dang big mosquitos! Food was terrible

I was on the Shreveport and did guard duty at GiTMO until August '75 by the air strip. I was in India company 3/2. We went to Fort Sherman Panama for JOTC center. Sign up on classmates.com, quite a few are on there

i remember you in the radio shack charging batteries and the rest of us were not allowed to see inside. i think you had a special security clearance
