He was stationed in Okinawa Japan and we met during 1994. However, throughtout the transfers and moving, I lost contact information for him. If anyone can contact him or knows him, please help me. I believe he could be in North Carolina. I will be visiting that state and would like to contact him.

Nearly 80 "Christopher Williams"s on the Marine Corps' rolls. Any further info (middle init, MOS, date of birth, etc...) might be helpful in tracking him down.

No. The database I use doesn't list historical data such as past duty stations. Additionally, a large number of Marines are stationed on Okinawa at one point or another in their career.

He's with SOTG. Yes, I know him, and occasionally we discuss matters via telephone. He's retiring in about six months or so.

Hmmmm....wonder if he has any good (i.e., incriminating) sea stories to tell from there?

Or better yet....can he make some up?

WOW, it seems truly interestting that they can all be be stationed at the same base on the same year. Well, who knows, may at this time he is in California or North Carolina?? If he gets to read this message or perhaps his buddy Simpson may see it and lets him know, just tell him that Maribel from California was inviting him to a reunion. Proper response may go to retiredandproud@yahoo.com

Never said they were all on the same base. However, "Christopher Williams" is a pretty common name - need to have a bit more info to narrow it down.

Otherwise, you could try Zaba Search.

I had to look up Zaba search since I had never heard of it. I looked up my name and they have my address from when I lived in Jacksonville in 1999, but the worst part is....they have me being born in 1970!

Born in '70?! That would almost make you an official old fart!

Zaba Search is a good resource, but has to be "taken with a grain of salt". According to it, there's a bunch of folks running around with identical first and last names as mine (and my last name isn't too common, except for a small colony of inbreeds somewhere in Minnesota).

I'm not an old fart, yet! Maybe in 9 more years, since I was born in 79.

A small colony of inbreeds??
