Aken - ha, whats he up too these days? He was part of the crew when we went up to Germany for Octoberfest. He broke the window, in our rental vehicle when we lost the keys. I remember waking up half naked in the Olymbia stadium under a bush. LOL. I seem to also remember something about wigs too at the Aerosmith concert. But the whole trip was is a blur since we were all smashed that weekend.

I barely remember Sandra - She was the Italian one right? I'll check to see if I have any pics of her around in some old boxes.

I didn't have the notifications on, now that I fixed that I should be able to reply quicker. I would like to see pics if any of you have them.

I've added more Pictures.
They're not in the best shape, but there is a few faces in there you might remember. Sgt Rod, Oman, Oden, Mizel, Swanson, Walton(?), Miller, Tracy, and a few that I can't remember their names.

If you know the names of the ones I forgot then let me know so I can add them.

http://www.prestonsrealm.com/pics/picture_index.htm

Enjoy!

From what I understand, Tracy had a lot of "nights" with the Mar Bar. LOL - She passed out a list of guys she was with. I remember it was a big joke. Her mission was to try and do all the Marines before she left.
I posted the picture of when she made it threw my room. I got my room mate in the act, and remember threatening him that if he pissed me off, I would show everyone that he had been done by Tracy. I cant remember his name though.

I just had a flash memory - Anyone remember the guy who shot off his thumb at the main gate?

I was walking down to the gate when I heard the shot(s) and then remeber a pregnant woman running down the road toward the squeeze. The Marine said that the carabanari pulled his gun instead of his ID. I don't remember the details.

Then who was the guy that shot out the window over at afsouth? He was put on bomb watch for like 6 months? Says he saw a floating head and shot three rounds into the Afsouth glass doors.

Hard to see the guy in your photo but it sure looks like RONNIE WAUGH! I hung out with him sometimes. He was Browns puppy.

Tracy Tracy Tracy. I remember that list. I admit it! I hit it twice. Well the first was just a bj but that's bad enough. The second was just crazy. Lets say it involved more than just me and Tracy.

Don't remember the Afsouth shooting. I would put my money on Aken but Brown would have mentioned that one.

Brown is good. We talk every two weeks. He is a Penn. State Trooper living in his hometown of Pittsburgh. Married with 3 girls. Been trying to hook up with him but it looks like I'm going to have to fly to Pitt to see him.

Aken is in Milwaukee. Funny how everybody goes home after the Corps! Aken was in Dallas for a while but he went home instead. I think he is married and I know he has a girl but she is with his ex-wife.

The fingers guy is Velilla. He was my roomie at that time. Man what a night! Frigging DELTA DELTA DELTA screams all over the place. We didn't know what was going on except we could hear Jeff screaming and the Italians going berserk! They wanted to open up on us real bad because Jeff shot up that cops car with his pregneant wife inside.

Jeff is doing really good. He was "retired" from the USMC. He lives in NYC with his family.

I live in Houston and married with 3 girls and 1 boy.

I'll have to find these guys email addresses and I will post your really cool website for them.

I have spoken with DeCamp, Floyd, McKenna, Chapman, Hornbuckle, Albrecht, and I do have Sgt Oman's address but haven't spoken to him. I have seen Cheech's name but for the life of me I don't remember him. He says he was in 2nd platoon but I just don't remember him at all.

That Vegas trip seemed a bit of a bust. Not many went. I didn't recognize two of them either. McGuire got real chunky also.

I really like your photos! Someday I'll buy some ink for my scanner and post some of my photos also. Mostly 2nd platoon guys but I have some of 3rd platoon and of course Brown.

Talk to you later
Cruz

To Napoli Marine:
Hey Cruz, this is "Cheech" I really do not remember you either, but you mentioned "V" Velilla, and yes I definitely remember that incident---anyways Damon "Flaco" Floyd, Luis "TIP" Roque and I recently met here in Cali---hung out @ Camacho's Mexican restaurant at Universal City Walk. It had been over 14 years since since I last spoke or seen either one, so it was great seeing and hanging out with them again. Keep posting your messages, they definitely bring
back memories.

I thought DeCamp was Roque big running buddy even to this day. I know that Chris is in Portland Oregon. I'll have to find these addresses.

Villila - That was the guy. I remember all kinds of Drama happening that night. He was going out with Tina at the time, and there was some drama with that too. I don't know the facts so I won't go there.

When Tracy came out with her I kind of got in some **** with the chick I was seeing there. I thought it was funny to see all the names though.

Looks like I will be heading to texas in the next six months or so. We haven't decided where we want to live yet, but it will probley be down south near San Antonio.

The guy who shot out the window at AFSOUTH was a hispanic guy, real nice guy, but freaked out that night. Had a nice tight shot group, right in the glass doors. I was the one who had to come and releive him that night. I had always joked that he spent too much time on the Lion.

Don't/didn't know Bush.

Preston! Moving to Texas huh? Well I'm in Houston and from San Antonio so let me know. What exactly is it that you do for some money? Computer programmer? You definitly are computer literate. Let me know if you want more info about Texas. I won't be too negative but I will be honest about the people, cost of living, traffic, things to do. Don't go to San Antonio just because of the River Walk. You'll soon find that locals stay the hell away from there unless it's Christmas or when our beloved Spurs win another championship.

Sure wish I remember who shot up Afsouth. Now I remember the ghost stories about Afsouth with the Nazi's and the torture chamber in the basement but that guy was trippin on something! I remember hearing footsteps going up and down on that staircase to the admirals office for about 2 minutes. Spent the rest of my shift outside!

Well better go. Talk youz guyz later.

Cruz

Hey Cruz,

Thanks for the offer, I've lived in Texas before. When I lived in Houston I worked for Time Warner as a Network Insallation Supervisor, I've also worked for Orius Broadband as a Network Engineer/Supervisor. Houston is a nice place. Lots to do there. We haven't decided where we want to go yet.
I was there a few years ago when all of downtown looked like a third world country because of all the flooding. The first year, I think it was 2001. We're actually looking in between Austin and San Antonio. I don't want to live in the city, but if we can find a smaller town I'd be happy. As we get closer to our time to leave Europe, I may get with you if we travel threw Houston.
The ghost stories...LOL - I personally don't remember any ghosts but I remember the stories. It was an unconfortable building none the less. I prefered the fish bowl to that main building anyday. More people over there.
I'm a Network engineer by trade, but as of late I haven't decided what I want to do when I grow up. Thinking about going back to school again. Just too many people in this field of work now a days.

Drop me some pics when you get a chance, so I can look at other peoples pics for a change. Or just drop me a line if you want to shoot the ****.

Will do!
Houston and DFW aren't exactly shrinking but Austin and SA are growing like crazy! That I-35 corridor is a friggin nightmare! New Braunfels and Canyon Lake are boom towns. Especially Canyon Lake. I would love to live in Europe again escpecially since my wife is a Brit and there is always lots to do there. Problem is they would think I'm a Paki and try to kick me out! Big Grin

Man I hated the fishbowl! Give me 11 or 12 anyday! Tracy hooked me up once when I was in the fishbowl! I was actually 12 and we went for a "walk". She even brought me a Dr. Pepper from upstairs!

Remember that black captain who worked at Navcams? Real azzhole! He was the PT instructor for the squids at the fishbowl. He used to get really pizzed when you blew him off and close the door on him because he constantly tried to give orders. Tell him that with all due respect we would have to talk to Col. Keenan first before we could obey his orders. Man he would flip out every time! He couldn't do anything though because we were protected by our general orders! Aint that something!
