I'm trying to find a VMI alumnus Donny Haseltine that is currently stationed at 29 Palms in California. We met and talked for about 5 hrs about fiction writing and the military's opinion on military fiction. (I'm a college student studying fiction-writing.) I want to reconnect him to ask a few more questions, but I don't know how to spell his last name so VMI hasn't been very helpful. Does that name ring a bell to anyone?

I knew him about 5 years ago. I think the correct spelling is Hasseltine. Gave us some of the best advice we ever got as young Lts, "When you're out at the bars, do everything you can to avoid a fight, but if you can't, you'd better f-ing win."
