I'm a double-major at Penn State in International Politics & Russian w/ a minor in Arabic. I qualify for the Express Scholarship and am told by the det that I can be a FAO. After researching on my own I saw there is a rank requirement of Maj & that you don't transition into the FAO program until your 7th year.
Ultimately I want to be in that field but if I can't do that straight out of commissioning, is general intel my only option as a stepping stone to FAO? I want to something where I'll be utilizing my foreign languages often.
