Let me start off with my situtation, I am currently a freshman at the Citadel, I am in AF Rotc and I have a good shot at getting a 3 yr contract(scholarship). I am wanting to join the Reserves and serve my country while I am in school. Though I hear it is hard to switch from the Reserves enlisted to an Active duty 2Lt. Is this true? Could I be in the reserves and still get a field training allocation slot? I also hear the reserves will pay for more of my education. Is this true as well? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you

I don't believe you can be contracted through AFROTC and in the reserves. You'll have to pick a lane. To find out if the reserves will pay for more of your education then I suggest you contact a reserve recruiter and run the numbers.
