so I keep seeing that you need a valid written prescription for basic to keep your script.. how does this apply to bcp's and what exactly would I need written if anything. Are they talking the label on the script? I'm guessing not. I asked at RSP if they would be allowed and I was given a resounding yes...I just didn't think to ask what I might need to actually keep them. I'm not interested in the resulting scars from acne if I go off em.

I was told you need a written prescription from your doctor. When you get there, they will take that from you and reissue a new prescription. They like for you to stay on them from my understanding so you shouldn't have a problem. I had acne in my late teens early twenties and will stay on them forever too because I'm too afraid to go off and have acne come back. I thought since I was approaching 30 I could go off and see how it was, so I went off and within a month my face started breaking out. So needless to say I went back on and will stay on probably for freaking ever. I was hoping another form, like the shot or something would have the same effect but for now, bcp seems to be the only form that helps chicks with previous acne issues.

What would be the point? It's not as if we pay for our prescriptions as service members , anyways. They give out fresh prescriptions and have old ones thrown away to avoid people possessing drugs they shouldn't have, which are disguised as something else, among other reasons.
