Is this allowed in basic? People think I'm weird because I do this... Come on now... Briefs first for the comfort and boxers second for the style or look. hahaha... Anybody...?

I can only speak for Ft. Benning... You will be issued sand-colored briefs to wear. Anything not issued or not approved will be considered contraband. I brought boxer briefs to BCT, but had to toss them because they were not issued and not approved.

You're not going to BCT to show off your "style." Comfort will be a foreign thing while in BCT. If you're looking for style and comfort, I suggest checking into a nice hotel somewhere and doing your own thing.

Alright! I was just curious hehe... but yeah... I'm up for anything they throw at me... thanks for replying!

I bought brown boxers at military clothing and sales during AIT. Still wear them when I'm low on regular boxers.

Yeah AIT is different... I bought all new boxers and had my wife bring me more from home when she came to visit.

Yeah... I guess I have to wait until I finish basic training. It feels awkward with just briefs and it feels awkward with just boxers. Never tried boxer briefs but maybe one day I will... hahahaha

I'm not trying to look cool or being in style, it's just my personal likings... Everybody got there personal favorite. It's good to know what to expect and that's why I ask. Who knows, there are people out there that might go into basic with silk cheetah thongs I don't know to much about basic training and that's why I ask.
