I was there for awhile and yeah it sucked real training is so much better. Ssgt Profit said it best its like being in prison for doing nothing wrong. I was in because i broke my foot the whole time i was there i was trying to get back to a regular flight, but they discharged me instead which kinda sucks because i saw people begging for discharge and they forced them to stay. I begged to stay but they forced me to leave. Its all good though i haven't given up yet i leave for MEPS next week for the Army.

Hey I was in the 319 for a night and believe me I was never so relieved to get back to my flight. They sent me there cause I fell off the top bunk hit the metal chair and the bed next to mine before knocking myself out on the floor. The doc said I had screwed up my shoulder by cracking both of them and sent me to the 319th but I was able to get an appt with a different doc the next day and he sent me back to my flight but I remember the phone call to my parents and everything I will never forget the day I had to call and let them know that I might be at lackland longer than expected LOL. The MTI's at the 319th were real pains but they at least gave you time to talk to your loved ones to explain what was going on

I was placed in the 319th for about 2 weeks. I had passed out during PT and they thought I had a heart murmur. I was at first put on pigeon detail. Not fun at all having to clean up pigeon crap all day. Well after a few days my condition got worse and they put me on a CDS( Cant Do @^%$) waiver, so I sat for almost a week and half in the dayroom with nothing to do. Luckily they put me back into training after 2 weeks even though I had to go all the way back to zero week.

My daughter spent her "zero week" in the 319. She passed out walking to get clothing issued. She was out for about 10 minutes, long enough that they called an ambulance. She ended up having a strep virus. She had to wear a mask for the week and limited activity. She was able to call us every night to let us know how she was doing. Luckily she was able to go back to her flight and graduate without being recycled. So all worked out well in the end for her.
