Oh, and btw, the Air Force sends their recruits to Basic Military Training. Unless you've enlisted with the Marines, in which case you WOULD be going to boot camp.
And is he allowed to have what he has listed in his profile? Not sure how the Guard/Reserve works regarding what one can list in his/her profile.

I drink lots and I mean LOTS of water everyday. I take a "water pill" to help shed the extra water weight.

Water weight should shed itself no matter how much you drink. Unless you're prescribed the diuretic, I would stop. Taking one in order to "make weight" is a bad idea. Instead of taking a pill, go run two miles.

But, regardless, I don't believe it would show on a drug test since it's not an illegal substance.

Thanks Calcas
I already run 2 miles a day but that dosent seem to affect my weight--I have actually gained more weight than I have lost by running.

And you're also shedding your potasuim and magnesium in that loss. Not wise!!

There's only one true way to lose weight.

Burn more calories than you eat. Running burns calories and I can't see how it could possibly make you "gain weight."

Check your diet. Of course, check with your physician first but simply eat healthier foods (nothing fried, avoid sugars, etc) and try to get down to about 1500 calories a day. That, along with exercise WILL drop your weight.

Depending on your current weight and height and age will determin what you need to start at. For instance, at my current size acording to my doc, to maintain I need to eat 2600 a day. To loose weight (and not excersise) I need to start at a 2100 a day. After a few weeks that is when you start lowering your level. There are sites you can google that will give you your starting point with the info. However, to find out when you need to drop your intake you need to discuss it with your doctor.
