Sounds like you're going to MP OSUT. I went through Engineer OSUT there. FLW has 3 OSUT groups: MP's, Engineers, and Chemical.
It's broken down into two phases: Basic Training and AIT. The first 9 weeks are the Basic Training phase (maybe 10 now, I heard they extended BCT by a week). You finish that phase on a Friday, get the weekend off, then Monday it's on to the AIT phase. No graduation, no ceremonies, just a pat on the back and then it's back to work.
You'll most likely graduate on a Thursday since the BCT week runs from Friday through Thursday versus Sunday through Saturday.
As far as Christmas Exodus, I'm not sure how this works, but judging from the date of your post you're already there. LOL disregard this post.
20weeks 6 days sounds about right. I dont think that is including exdous. I was there this time last year and was there from 11/14/06 to 04/19/07 so you can do the math. IT SUCKS!!!just to be honest
That is 9 weeks BCT(I believe it is now 10) and 10 weeks AIT. That time frame is about right for the new 10 week BCT and 10 week AIT of MP OSUT. When I first got to FLW as a MP DS in 2005, they just bumped it from 17 weeks to 19.
