I'm joining the Navy but I'm worried about my weight. I'm 21 years old and I weigh about 100 pounds. I think I'm underweight what can I do to gain weight before I go to MEPS and Boot Camp?

How tall are you? 100 pounds isn't bad if your around 5 feet tall but,if your much taller you may be underweight from a health standard. What does your doctor and parents think? Talk to a doctor about adding more weight safely and gain muscletone and strength.

Not a great idea to eat like that. You should really see a doctor about being underweight. There are some products on the market that can help you gain weight safely without adding lots of fat or using steriods.GNC and other health food and vitamin stores sell products for body building atheletes, the doctor will recomend one for you.

In general, Navy recruiters will not (some districts cannot) work with people who are not in DEP. It's a waste of their time. You have to prove to them you want it by doing the work yourself.
