Good Afternoon,

I have a question regarding W-2's. I reired on 01 August and received a W-2 which appears to be for my active duty months, Jan - June. Should I receive another one or should my retired pay been on this one? I was claiming AK and changed residency to MA once retired?

Thanks,

Dave

taxable retired pay that you received is reported on a different form than a w-2. My opinion is that you should contact retired pay section in Topeka.

Your retired pay is reported on a 1099. If you haven't gotten a 1099 yet, you need to call RAS, they were sent out in January.
