It seems the VA only has proof that my VEAP money was refunded. Shame on me for not checking on this before I retired, and looking to see if there was an endorsement on the DD-214.

I did find a copy of the paperwork I filled out to contribute $2700 back into the VEAP account then have it converted to MGIB. I'll be contacting VA again, then Topeka to see what I can accomplish.

This is a warning to all You VEAPers that did this and are still in!
