I wouldn't give up!!!
Go here: http://www.vethealth.cio.med.va.gov/atomicvets.htm and go thru the "guidebooks" and see if yer issues fit in anywhere. Have ya filed a claim for service connection yet?? Or is it just VA healthcare saying "yer cancer has no relation to being exposed to A Bomb testing". Thats kinda 2 seperate things and one may not necessarily have anything ta do with the other. The VA has a long and storied history of just flat being in denial of certain things vets were exposed to in time of service as being service connected. Agent Orange is a big one, Hearing's another one, as is Atomic Veterans. So before ya give up totally I think it would be in yer best interest to at least do some more research. Type "Atomic Veterans" into yer favorite online search engine and you gonna finds tons of info and websites that might help ya Best of Luck!!!-JRC |

Ya also might wanna go here:
http://www1.va.gov/irad/ and read some of the "newsletters". The sept '06 "newsletter" has a list of "presumptive" cancers directly related to Exposure to radiation, is your condition on that list?? If so, that pretty much means you "automatically" qualify for service connection-JRC |
