I was dischaged a little over a year ago. They claimed I was a sleep walker. I never have slept walked before and they said I did under way. I told them it wasnt that I was under stress as a newlywed and having a fight about other women (while underway) they sent me for testing and it was never proven Iam a sleepwalker as I havent not since then almost 2yrs ago never before that tiem wither. I dont believe I ever did actully sleep walk.
They discarged me with a re-enlistment code of: RE-3G JFV a master chief Yeomen at the station I was at for the time during testing told me I would be able to reenlist after a little time. Im looking for any kind of help I can get. I have contacted my senetors to no help. I dont know what else to do Has any one else out there gone through the same? It feels like I'm trying to do the impossible but I dont want to give up. I want to serve. I loved being on active duty and would do anything to get back out there thanks |

What "station" were you at that had a YNCM?
I would suggest you take your DD-214 down to your local recruiter. If there is a story to be told, tell him/her and they will be the most help to you..... Wray... |

As Wray said, you need to talk to a recruiter.
You say you a) loved being on active duty and b) you did not sleepwalk. I have never seen anyone discharged for sleepwalking with this combination. I've seen people who didn't want to be in discharged for sleepwalking as an easy way out (but they did really have some minor sleepwalking issues). I've seen people who really wanted to stay in discharged for severe cases of sleepwalking since it was a safety issue (one guy went into the Army with no problems). Anyway, your RE3 code could allow you back in with a waiver from the recruiting command. The recruiters will know how to do this. |
