Im just getting back into the flow of single life and don't know were to meet men. Besides bars, I don't feel is the best place.
So if anyone could give me some ideals please let me know.

My husband passed away 2 1/2 years ago and my last kid just went off to college, so now its time for me to get out there and get a life as my son says.

I see you've met one of the "sheriffs" - good folks really and fun to have around UNLESS you step on your donger... how do you do that you ask? Read the TOS at the bottom of the page, it tells you all the do's/don'ts. Also at the beginning page of the forum you will see "Discussion Forum Basic's" it is helpful to read that also.

I worked in a petroleum refinery for years, and was up to my eyeballs in good looking men every day of my life, and STILL didn't make ANY connections there.
Conventional wisdom says "go to church", but you can even meet the wrong person in church.

I guess what I'm trying to tell you is, the harder I tried to "make it happen", the more I came up with "zippo". Or worse, I hooked up with truly bad people and hopelesssly dead end streets.

I never found a magic formula. The guys who loved me seemed to just appear when I least expected. I have no idea why they were attracted to me. Nothing *I* did either helped me or hurt me, or changed the timing of things.

I'm a guy and I've heard rumors that in the final analysis the cat or dog is the better option available to you wimmenz...... something about different parts of the brain that works.

Actually I think it really comes down to us men just never seeming to understand when you wimmenz say - "you knew what I meant"!!!

and us menz thinking to ourselves - "how the hell was I supposed to know that"???

Seriously though, some people “can’t” be alone.
I don’t mind it; enjoy it more the older I get. If I do decide to take a road trip or just run to the store ~ my dogs are always happy to go along!! When I had my house upstate I used to take the cat along too. She did well in the car after a few trips.

Notice how it ultimately never works, when they try to box religion away in its own little corner? The forum usually dries up and blows away after a while, and no one goes there. That's because God goes where He belongs... and, where *He* wants to, which is... everywhere!
